Day 3 - 1st Aug: Beijing - Tiananmen Square + The Palace Museum+Niujie
·Morning: Today we will head to Tiananmen Square, the largest city
square in the world. You can visit the Monument to the People's Heroesand the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (subject to opening hours). Then visit the Palace Museum, a treasure trove of Chinese ancient art andhistory. Marvel at the magnificent imperial architecture and a large
number of precious cultural relics.
·Afternoon: Stroll around the Niujie Night Market, and taste various halal
snacks such as grilled lamb skewers and baked buns. Visit Niujie Mosque, which is the largest and oldest mosque in Beijing. It was first built inthe13th year of the Liao Shengzong period (996 AD), featuring a uniquearchitectural style and profound historical and cultural heritage.
